How to Rip Digital Pokémon Packs, Step by Step

Install and Fund a Crypto Wallet (If You Don’t Have One Yet)

To get started, you will need an NFT-compatible crypto wallet. Download the Magic Eden Wallet either as a browser extension or as a mobile app available on both the Android and iOS app stores. 

Follow the prompts to set up the wallet, safely store your recovery phrase, create a strong password, and fund your wallet so you can purchase NFT packs. 

You can fund your wallet through the onramp options by purchasing Solana (SOL) and then swapping it for USDC on the Solana network.

Connect Your Wallet to Magic Eden

Go to the Magic Eden website, click ‘Log In’ at the top right corner, and choose ‘View all wallets’ to log in or sign up via your crypto wallet. 

Select the Magic Eden wallet from the list and Solana as the blockchain you want to connect to.

Next, approve the connection between your wallet and the Magic Eden marketplace and authorize the connection request to confirm you own the wallet.

Browse Pokémon Packs

Go to the Magic Eden packs page to browse and find the available NFT pack collections. Click on each pack to view more details, including drop rates. 

Buy Your Pokémon Packs

Select a pack from the available Pokémaster packs and click ‘Buy Pack.’ Follow the prompts to confirm your purchase in your wallet. Ensure you have enough crypto, such as USDC, to cover the gas fees and the pack price.

Once successful, your Pokéman pack will appear under the ‘Items’ section in your wallet.

Using Magic Eden, you can rip both NFT packs and Pokémon Packs. 

Click the pack to rip it open and reveal your cards. 

From there, you can sell them on the spot, pick up another pack, keep them in your collection, or redeem them for the physical versions.
