A Quick Overview of Overwatch Champions Series

The OWCS is a premier series of competitive Overwatch events that feels like an exciting eSports festival for all eSports enthusiasts. It brings together the best of the best players and teams from four leading regions: Asia (Japan, Korea, and the Pacific regions), EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and North Africa), China, and North America to compete for the Champions title.

Each of these regions begins the 2025 Season of OWCS with an Open Qualifier during which the final teams taking part in the Regular Season will be determined. Next comes Stage 1, where all Partner Teams get automatically seeded into their matching regional Regular Season. The remaining spots are typically filled through the Open Qualifiers. After that, the top teams from each region compete in Stage 1 Regulars and slowly move to Stage 2.

The Overwatch Champions Series 2025 runs in collaboration with WDG and FACEIT Group using their platforms and features, unique viewership rewards, and surprising upsets.
