Which one is good then

Well, if you are wondering which one is good for you, then there are some criteria to choose one of the two of them

Number of days: if you have 7 nights and 8 days in Nepal, then you can choose the Langtang Valley trek. You can also do the Annapurna Base Camp trek if you have that much time, but you need to use the Flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara, then back to Kathmandu both ways, which is a bit

Pokhara and the High Mountains: If you wish to see both Pokhara and the High Mountains, then you can do the Annapurna Base Camp trek. This trek allows you to see both in one trip because the mountains in Langtang are pretty short.

Difficulty: The Annapurna base camp trek is harder than the Langtang valley trek due to the trail’s conditions and the trail’s slope with multiple ascents and descents. Most of the trekkers struggle with the stairs.

Closer to Mountain View: The Annapurna base camp trek offers a closer mountain view than the Langtang Valley trek. Mt Annapurna is just 1 Km distance from the hotel at the base camp.

Cultural: Langtang Valley trek is more culturally rich than the Annapurna base camp trek, and there are a lot of monasteries and chorten a long the trails with multiple Mani walls on the way.

Conclusion: the choice depends on the various factors that we have mentioned above, but both treks are very good for beginners and trekkers who have a limited time, around 10 days. To go to Langtang Valley, it is much easier and faster than going to Annapurna Base Camp. Langtang Valley is a bit easier than the Annapurna Base Camp, and Annapurna Base Camp is a bit tougher than the Langtang valley but Annapurna Base Camp offers a better and taller mountain view than the Langtang Valley.
